Gheestenland was founded back in 2003 in the far north of The Netherlands. As a one-man band, Gheest recorded the demo "Volkerenmoord" released by sadolust-records in 2003. Limited to 99 copy's. New songs were written and Swerc joined the band on drums. Together they recorded the promo "Gitzwart" and released it themselves in 2005. It contains the 2 songs Diepe gronden & Geen angst voor wat komen gaat... After interests of record labels, Gheestenland re-recorded some demo/promo stuff with Schmerz on second guitar. These recordings are released by Obscure Abhorrence Productions in April 2007 as a split cd with Grim Funeral.
