There are at least two artists with the name GESS 1. GESS was a noisepunk band from Kyushu, Japan. Similar to the Swankys (or Gai), Confuse and Sieg Heil -that's to say heavily inspired by Disorder, Chaos UK and most importantly Chaotic Dischord. They would later change their name to Lydia-Cat's 2. GESS is an r&b/pop singer-songwriter-producer who’s being noticed for his ability to “transport his listeners to the stars” with his melodies and “out of this world” production style. His modern r&b sound has been seen on VH1 and caught the attention of many over the last year - including The Grammys, Italian Vogue, Billboard, Paper Magazine, Gaytimes, Flaunt Magazine and more throughout France and the UK.
