Artist
Gerty Farish is the casio and guitar duo of Jess Daniels and John Donahue. They began in 1995, residing in Massachusetts, but moved to Brooklyn in 1997 where they remained active until 1999. In that span of time they released two full length albums: Bulks Up (full length on Load Records) and Means Lots Of Treble (Menlo Park release of all of their 7"s, 10"s, and 12"s). As of 2007 they have resumed making music with the group Best Fwends, as well as under their own name. Songs "The Friendliest Dog in the Whole World" and "Rugbutt" appeared on the 2009 Methodist Leisure Inc. freebie punk and noise compilation 'Short Attention Span'.
