Artist
Gerolamo was born in Bologna on the 21st of September 1980, under the last strikes of Italian terrorism and four years after his father had won his first basketball national championship with Virtus team. He's a Dadaist since his birth, as proved by his first utterance, in 1981: "Dada". As a little child he falls in love with painting and, still illiterate, he daydreams of a fantastic world with its own geography, its own language, his own towns. He firmly believes in the existence of the big cities of Thyronaghen, Samaleh, Minek Heit and in that of a little alien girl called Mira. In 2000, being inspired by Beethoven' Sixth Symphony and by Prodigy, he starts composing. His first instruments being: a Casio 8bit keyboard, an amplifier, an old piano to tamper with, and one of the first Pentium in history rescued from being just a kind of a futuristic typewriter. As a Dj he works in clubs (Link, Black B) and raves (Street Rave Parade, Sun Explosion), and in 2002 he meets Gigi D'Agostino, the leader of Italian pop electro scene, and joins his team as Noisemaker official producer. His first issue is "Once upon a time" (Elettrogang-Once upon a time), an electronic fairy tale for dancing released five times between 2004 and 2005. His last one, "Vorrei fare una canzone" (Gigi D'Agostino & the Magic Melodien), written in 2004 and issued in 2007 ("Lento violento...e altre storie", Silver Disc in Italy). As 30000 records run all over the world with his name on them, he gives birth to
