Genevieve Katherine Jackson (born December 9, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter. She comes as the latest talent to emerge from the famously talented Jackson family. She is the daughter of the youngest brother Randy Jackson and former Columbian model, Alejandra Patricia Oaziaza and niece to Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson and her other uncles and aunts. Genevieve has five siblings; Stevanna, Randy Jr., Donte, Jaafar and Jermajesty. From early on, Genevieve always knew that she wanted to be a performer. When she was just four years old she performed in Las Vegas at the Jackson Family Honors event with her family. When she was eight, she traveled to London to join her uncle Michael onstage in front of thousands of people. The experience inspired her, and she knew in her heart that she wanted to be a performer. A year later she began her vocal training with the legendary vocal coach Brenda Lee Eager who has worked with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, and Prince. Genevieve cherishes the time she has spent over the years accompanying her aunt Janet to studio recordings and numerous video shoots and rehearsals. Most recently Genevieve sang background vocals for her aunt, LaToya. The resulting single, “I Don’t Play That,” was featured on the television show “Armed and Famous”. “I am blessed to come from such a talented family”, she says.
