Gene Clark & Friends, also (Gene Clark's Byrds) also (Gene Clark & The Byrds Tribute) was a bunch of musicians including Richard Danko, John York, Micheal Clarke, Rick Roberts, Richard Manuel, Blondie Chaplin and so on, and so further originally formed by Gene Clark to tribute the fact that the original Byrds started 20 years before. The other Byrds forbid the name so they toured as Friends and later as The Byrds Tribute. Although they did'nt maken any records some of their shows are recorded and it is quite a lot of very very good music wellworth listening too, even your main taste is Gene Clark.
