Gemiinii Riisiing is the psychedelic brainchild of renaissance woman, Jessica Haeckel: prolific artist, musician, designer, writer, tattoo artist, and hypnotherapist. Self taught on piano by the age of six, Jessica was called a child prodigy; at thirteen she began writing for guitar as well. In 2006, under the name Gemiinii Riisiing, she began posting both original songs and the covers for which she has become known on the worldwide web. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Jessica's rich, dark, three-octave contralto vocal range is utterly unique and instantly recognizable. Driven by her haunting vocals, primal rhythms and potent lyrics, she has been compared by mutual fans to Tool, Tori Amos, and A Perfect Circle. Primarily a solo project, Gemiinii Riisiing occasionally features various musicians from around the world. Gemiinii Riisiing released the much anticipated "Insects EP", in July 2010.
