Gelousy is a Latvian rock band from Rīga, Latvia. The band was founded in 1996 by guitarists Eduards Ancāns (ex-Grindmaster Dead, ex-Big Love & Sex Forever) and Edgars Ķauķis (ex-Huskvarn), and vocalist Jānis Vanags (ex-Nejautā). After several lineup changes in its early years, the band settled on five members for more than a decade: Ancāns, Ķauķis, Vanags, Jurģis Blumbergs, and Pāvils Bobrovskis. Ķauķis died on September 25, 2019. Current members: Jānis Vanags - vocals; Eduards Ancāns - guitars; Armands Butkevičs - bass; Māris Čistovs - drums.
