Having started out in 2017 in the city of Bangalore, India, Gauley Bhai is a four-piece band that makes music with influences from Nepali folk tunes. The members of the band include Veecheet Dhakal, Anudwatt Dhakal, Siddhant Chettri, and Joe Panicker. According to the drummer, Joe Panicker, the sound of Gauley Bhai was inspired by the soul of the places where the members originally come from.
