In some circles Gas Kunst translates as "Fun art/culture". They are Buzz Vanker, Dick Cable and Justin Case. The bands debut EP also features te vocal talents of Judy Jones (The C33s) and Uncle Meat (Hanami Family) recorded over 3 short sessions at the back end of 2022 and hot on the heels of last years debut single "101" it sets out the bands stall as no sense, high energy purveyors of post post punk. The music on "Gas Kunst" was recorded live and straight to tape on a Fostex 28h by Tape Jesus and Peter Funk. Drums come courtesy of a Roland 606 drum machine except "Loose Change" which showcases the drumming prowess of Kyle from Garageband. After recording the voices in various home made vocal booths and bedrooms the tracks were mixed by Joel Magill (Syd Arthur,Dawn Chorus Records) and is to be released by Rare Vitamin Records on Cassette, CD and Mini CD on 29th January. A digital release will follow on.... and will be available on all the regular streamin platforms. The influences range from Thee Osees to Sleaford Mods and right back to The Stooges and Mothers of Invention.
