Electro pop trio based in Toulouse, France - illustrations: Agathe Moreau Laurence sings and does a couple more things. Philippe writes the lyrics and music, and produces the songs. Stephane is the musician, a classically trained pianist. They believe in pop music, the virtue of memorable melodies and the expression of feelings, never mind flirting with sentimentality. Following on the band's previous contributions to the Winter Records compilations "Western" (2011) and "1.05" (2012), the label released gargamel etchevery's debut EP, "The Missing Link", in October 2014. "The Missing Link" is an important step in the development of the band's project. After releasing songs on two Winter Records compilations, they've decided to work at adapting their music to live performance. The post-punk or italo-disco influences are still there, yet filtered through the prism of the contemporary synthpop of Ejecta, Austra or Phantogram, and of the indie dance tones of Holy Ghost.
