Davide Traina's solo project, Garda 1990, was born in a small architecture studio in Via Marsala in Bologna, in May 2017, a mix of Midwest Emo nuances and 90s expressive need that catapults us to the planets The Get Up Kids and Mineral. During March 2018, Davide focuses on writing and recording "Downtown", the first album to be released in March 2019 for the independent labels Oh! Dear Records, DreaminGorilla Records, E' Un Brutto Posto Dove Vivere, Tristezza Is The New Happiness. During the summer of 2019, after a series of concerts, two important changes take place: on the one hand Lorenzo Atti on bass and Albrecht Kaufmann on drums officially enter the project, on the other Davide Traina chooses to switch from English to Italian. The result of this mutation is immediately put into practice by creating a real emocore power trio with postgaze references. The formation enters the studio in July and records five new songs.
