Ganathipan is a versatile and creative instrumentalist, having had music from the age of 5 with a guitar in his hands. By 17, he had completed A.Mus.A in both classical guitar and piano. Performing with James Morrison at a school concert inspired an understanding of being adaptable and resulted in Ganathipan dabbling in other related instruments such as the bass guitar, drums and trombone. This curiosity to enhance his own sonic hasn't stopped to this day. β Moving to Sydney allowed Ganathipan to further embrace other cultures' music via university and college life. His heavy involvement in Robert Menzies College was to earn him the privilege of having an award named after him, 'The Gana Aruneswaran Award' for Excellence in Creative Arts. He continued to up-skill in his craft, picking up Veena and Mridangam, prominent instruments in the Carnatic world. Ganathipan was inspired to combine his learnings from the Indian and Western worlds of music into eclectic instrumentals. For instance, he composed a piece called 'Ecstasy' after buying a rare folk instrument, But-Bul Tarang, in Delhi. β Whilst refining his craft of composing and performing, he met Audius Mtwariria, an accomplished producer and artist, in 2017. He became a mentor to Ganathipan's musical ambition. After listening to a composition Ganathipan wrote 8 years ago called 'Mandolin Madness', Audius encouraged him to create a greater portfolio of instrumental music. This resulted in his fresh release of 'Ganathipan
