Artist
Galen Crew was born on July 11, 1990 in Ocean City, NJ. His interest in music began at a very young age, and he dabbled on clarinet, piano, and drums before taking a serious interest in the guitar. As his guitar abilities increased, so did his passion for songwriting. He continued excelling in music all the way through high school and college, winning various talent competitions and playing in bands ranging from pop to hard rock to gospel. Galen decided to try his hand at being a solo artist at the age of 19, and quickly discovered a voice he never knew he had. His songwriting talent, vocal finesse, and instrumental skills caught the ears of Nashville producer Mark Heimermann (DC Talk, Michael W. Smith) and legendary songwriter Roger Cook ("I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing", "Long Cool Woman in Black Dress", "Talking in Your Sleep"), and together they are working to form a unique sound around a vision that Galen is intent upon pursuing.
