Gabriela Olga Bejerman (born in 1973 in Buenos Aires), known by the pseudonym of Gaby Bex as a musician, is an Argentinean singer-songwriter whose songs combine poetry with electronic music. She started writing novels at the age of fourteen. In 1999 Bejerman published her first poetry book, "Alga" (Siesta). It was followed by "Crin" (Belleza y Felicidad, 2001), "Pendejo" (Eloísa Cartonera, 2003) and "Sed" (Cencerro, 2005). In 2004 she published "Presente Perfecto", a book which featured two brief novels, under Editorial Interzona, and the allowance of Fundación Antorchas. Also, Bejerman self-published a large number of texts in "Belleza y Felicidad"; several times as Lirio Violetsky. Between 1997-2001 she co-edited, together with Gary Pimiento, the magazine "Nunca Nunca Quisiera Irme a Casa" which was released at a time when young poetry was at its peak in Buenos Aires, and so, generated audiences and artists from different waves to converge. During those years she started performing poetry, and later, music. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
