GABI ALMEIDA is a modern edgy artist who mixes urban beats with South American and UK influences around her captivating silken vocals. Combining diverse musical influences GABI ALMEIDA has forged a new sound encompassing the attitude of M.I.A with the versatility of Bjork. Introduced to the underground scene whilst touring with artists such as Tricky, David Mc Almont and Anne Clark she began her first solo productions. Developing songs based around her distinctive vocal styling and guitar sounds, GABI ALMEIDA debut offering, an album entitled “Paint My Colours”, is an unusual blend of passionate orchestral arrangements, hip hop rhythms, atmospheric sounds and dreamy vocal textures.
