Artist
Gabriel Silva Felizardo, better known as Gabeu, is a Brazilian singer and composer, precursor of Queernejo, a musical movement proposed by LGBT artists that aims to bring representation to country music. Born and raised in the city of Franca, SP, the artist is the youngest son of singer Solimões, from the duo Rionegro & Solimões. Since childhood, he was strongly influenced by his father and country music, but throughout his adolescence he distanced himself from his roots to explore new things. He began his artistic life at the age of 12, when he composed his first songs and participated in a spiritualist theater group, still in his hometown, where he had even more contact with music, dance and performing arts and taught theater classes to children. At the age of 18, he moved to São Paulo to study film directing and music production. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
