There are several artists with the name Gabardine. 1) A French Minimal Techno act on Groom Records. His first Ep is called "Fall up" . 2) A band on Saddle Creek Records that formed in 1996. Comprised of members of Beep Beep, Broken Spindles, and The Faint, their members were Chris Hughes, Eric Bemberger, Ben Armstrong, and Joel Petersen. They released one self-titled album and added two tracks to the Saddle Creek sampler. They broke up in the summer of 1998. 3) A brazillian synthpop duo having 4 singles released under Electrocardiodrama records. And also a swiss band called Gabardine: They formed in 1993, performing from 1996 on as Gabardine. Their label is Daisycutter. The photo is of the Swiss Gabardine. Style: Their sound might be best described as noise, lo-fi or indie-pop.
