GT Stringer's history dates back to infamous Adelaide surf act The Luau - founding members Jim Redgate and Trevor Ramsay formed GT Stringer after a request was made for some earlier recorded material from The Luau - as no such recordings were in existence GT Stringer was formed to generate original surf inspired instrumental tracks. Almost 10 years on and 5 full length CDs later GT Stringer have become respected as one of Australia's leading surf instro au-go-go outfits.
