GT & The Bandits is an electric-blues-rock band from Orange Park, FL. Though not officially forming under the banner "GT & The Bandits" until 2010, the group has been jamming together for since 2005. Brothers Preston (vocals, guitar) & Forrest Ashby (drums) along with Jay Coggin (bass) have a tight friendship and musical bond that creates genuine chemistry both in the studio and on stage. In the band's debut album, Rainin' Blues, GT&B blends its own mixture of blues, rock & jamband, smothered in a marinade of vintage Americana. Along with the core trio, Rainin' Blues includes performances by Luis Colón (saxophone) and Walt Mingledorff (organ, piano.)
