If one fancies the sound of The Grand Sports like a picnic, mix tapes with 70th rock and 80th pop run on the cassette recorder. In addition the Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stoneage with Bobby Conn drink Spanish Absinthe and wait for the fact that, finally, Jeff Buckley, as promised, with a heap of pretty girls appears. Meanwhile Jimmy Page with his acoustic guitar tries to drown the cassette recorder ,what fails, however, because of the fact that the Foos and the Queens turn constantly louder. Very briefly, The Grand Sports sound less European than rather American, play rock with the 70s intensity, tighten it then with 80s beats, crown it with wonderful, sonorous singing on top, and compress it then on pleasant 3 minutes.
