Other than the most obvious description of Tron-tastic, we leave the stage to Rory Sawyer (Sory Rawyer) to describe GOWTRON in their essence. From the ashes of Philadelphia indie-rockers Salt Pilot, GOWTRON was born. Contrary to what the name seems like, Gowtron is not a multi-headed mythological beast, but rather a multi-person math rock duo. On guitar is Matt Holden, and on the drums is Andrew Olshevski. With an unsurpassable amount of energy that drives them onward toward musical nirvana, GOWTRON creates songs with odd time signatures, normal time signatures, or no time signatures at all. With a talent that was hinted at during the Salt Pilot days, Andrew and Matt leave that in the past as they pioneer a new genre simply dubbed as "2+2=GOWTRON."
