GLIDDEEE is a Lebanese post-hardcore/indie rock band blending the grittiest parts of shoegaze, post-rock, and noise-punk into a whole sound. Each member takes part in the composition, creating a genre-diverse and full-bodied soundscape, setting themselves apart from their peers. In fully embracing a dirty, imperfect sound in a scene saturated with polished production and dreamier motifs, GLIDDEEE engages with grounded and free expression reminiscent of ideas resonant in the older punk environment: uncompromising but still truthful to their ethic. With Marco Bazerji’s unconventional writing and composing, Chris Aoun's loud and consistent tonality, Ali Hamdar's groovy-driven bass, and Elizabeth Aboujaoude's punchy rhythms on drums, they put together a sound pushing far beyond the Lebanese punk spaces they take part in. Since the band's first live performance, they quickly gained a reputation for their unpredictable stage antics and abrasive yet emotive sound. Their debut single "SUPERTASTEUR" was released in January of 2025 and has already helped establish GLIDDEEE in the Beirut music scene. The band finally put out their debut EP "KINETIC FLAW," recorded by Joy Moughanni at Tunefork Studios, with "INHALER" serving as a lead single.
