GEAR-CX is 17 years old and is from Dallas, Texas, but currently lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was during the age of nine that CX started composing music to accompany the computer games that he created. A few years later, he focused on composing more than programming. Just after high school, he began performing at local venues during events in Tulsa, such as the popular OK Electric and FreeTulsa. January 10, 2010, CX released his first official album, MINDTRIP, which was used to gain a large fanbase on MySpace. On December 1, 2010, he put out his second release, Cryogenesis EP, which is currently his most popular work.
