GAL GO is the project of multi-instrumentalist Ignacio Salvadores, born in Buenos Aires and based in London since 2016. A key collaborator of King Krule, who discovered him via an unsolicited Facebook video of him playing saxophone under a bridge in East London. The two have since collaborated on numerous projects, including The Ooz, Man Alive!, and Space Heavy. Described as a “burst of passion that’s mysterious and striking” by Pitchfork, GAL GO’s sound is full of complexities. His effortless embrace of jazz, rock and experimentation place his music in a universe of its own. Singing in his native language, he seeks to connect his two worlds in a way that’s both brooding and exhilarating. Impossible to put in a box.
