There are two artists named G-CLEF. 1. G-Clef da Mad Komposa also known as Joey "G-Clef" Cavaseno is a saxophonist, producer, arranger, rapper, vocalist, composer, etc, associated with Soul Kid Klik, Yalloppin' Hounds, Rayzd, Illinois Jacquet, Panama Francis, and many others. 2. G-CLEF (G-クレフ) are an instrumental Japanese fusion band who formed in 1989, released several albums and eventually disbanded in 1994. The band principally consisted of pianist Dai Sakakibara (榊原大), cellist Hiroki Kashiwagi (柏木広樹), and violinists Tsuyoshi Watanabe (渡辺剛) and Tetsuya Ochiai (落合徹也), however the line-up changed over the band's lifetime.
