Gökhan Türkmen is a Turkish pop star born on September 1st, 1983 in Istanbul, Turkey. He was first introduced to playing guitar in 1997, and began appearing at events in 2000. He graduated from the Department of Industrial Management at Kocaeli University in 2003, after which he began intensive singing lessons whilst giving guitar lessons. In 2008, his song "Büyük İnsan" received 5 million views on YouTube, and he was signed to İrem Records.
