Göbbels a-go-go (Apollon records APE3 1983) was recorded by Lasse Myrvold and Kristian Stangebye in Bergen, Norway in 1981-82 and sent to Sweden for pressing. However, the master tape disapeared in the mail only to reappear under mysterious circumstances in 1983. It was then reedited, four vocal tracks were removed , the remaining tracks with vocals were collected on side 1, while the entire second page now consisted of three instrumental songs, including " Under Kontroll ", a 16 minutes long piece originally made as music for performance group Smug Theatre's staging of "The Little Prince" in 1981 . Gøbbels a- go-go was finally released in 1983 , coinciding with the Gøbbels teams release of The Willkoks Talk where they gave the Norwegian Prime Minister Kåre Willoch's 18 minutes long New Year speech "a musical bath". The release of Gøbbels a- go-go at the time landed in the shadow of all the controversy surrounding the Willkoks Talk. Gøbbels a-go-go was only released on vinyl and has never been rereleased. Gøbbels a- go-go is considered to be the first Norwegian electronica record. Under the name Gøbbels a- go-go 13 Myrvold and Stangebye recorded a last record shortly before death of Myrvold 3. September 2006 . The recordings were completed, but is not released (by 2015). User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
