G.Martin was born and raised in the "Steel City" Gary Indiana. Never foreseeing how much of an impact music would have on his life, he fell in love with the sound of tunes at an early age. He started off as a musician playing three instruments at the age of twelve and has since been perfecting his craft. G.Martin began to sing at the young age of fourteen and discovered his best qualities through his vocal ability. He wrote his first song at the age of fifteen, which drove him to seek out an audience in the form of high school productions and community events. Later he would go on to be invited to perform at formal state events, sports events and private affairs.
