There are at least two artists with the name Fyre. 1. Fyre was a Sacramento based rap trio that consisted of members G Rider, Mxlplx, and Swank Daddy. The group was active from 1998 to 2003. Their content on streaming includes Fyre XII, Fyre XIII, and Fyre XIV, however the remainder of their music is posted on their bandcamp page, run by swank. Both G Rider and Swank Daddy have continued to release music, and Mxlplx formed Death Grips, adopting the name Ride (often incorrectly titled 'MC Ride') in 2010. 2. Fyre (Ognyan Pavlov) is a Bulgarian rapper, songwriter, and actor from Sofia, Bulgaria. Known for his raw, emotional lyrics and honest storytelling, FYRE blends hip-hop energy with deeply personal themes of loss, resilience, and faith. Growing up without a father and losing his mother to cancer as a teenager, music became his way of survival and self-expression. Influenced by artists like 2Pac and DMX, FYRE’s sound combines classic rap authenticity with modern production and a powerful emotional core. Beyond music, he also appears as an actor — most notably in the Bulgarian feature film Windless (2024), where he plays the lead role.
