FUTURE SPACE ORCHESTRA began in April 2010 as the outlet for Michael Guzman, Cody Rieff and Devin Roberts and Riley Shoff; four young musicians living in the small suburban town of Keizer, Oregon. Within one month of the bands inception, the group headed to Portland, Oregon to record what would become their first release. The band sold handmade copies of the release to their local fans & friends and featured it online for download. It was quickly featured on Post-Rock forums and a number of Blogs based in China and the US. Weary Bird Records, an up-and-coming Post-Rock label in China heard the bands EP and agreed to release the groups’ debut full-length as their labels first release. As the band continued writing over the coming months and performed throughout the Northwest, they began to redefine their sound. In late July, drummer Cody Rieff moved to Seattle to begin his new life as bassist Riley Shoff also left the band. Future Space Orchestra's two remaining members continue their work finishing up the record. There is no scheduled release date as of yet.
