Future Sluts of America was was an indy-pop outfit formed by Matt LaGoy and Kancho Kidd in San Francisco in late 2002. The two recorded an eponymous EP in December of that year and prompty moved on to other projects. The band was revived in early 2004 with the addition of Oso. The previously fluid line-up solidified with LaGoy on guitar and vocals, Oso on bass and vocals and Kidd on drums. By September of that year, the band's sound had shifted in more of an art rock direction. They changed their name to Stolen Pony, recorded a never-released EP and prompty split up.
