Future Funk was for a long time the only international House-act in Germany. They were respected by artists like George Morel and Masters At Work because they used to play on events all live. Founded by Jerome Isma-ae and Marcel Krieg, Future Funk released many records on their own label Flavour Rec. and Toasted, but also on more underground-ish label as Delirium, Compose, Plastic and Hey Babe! or on international labels as Strictly Rhythm. Their sound is a combination of House-, Disco-, Soul- and Funk-elements, while their message was also the title for the first album: "Freak Tonight!"
