Fuse The Disconnect is the recently created solo project of singer/songwriter, Steve Zieja. For the last few years, Zieja was the lead singer/rhythm guitar player for the band he co-founded, She's The Breeze. Unfortunately, due to a change in geography and a few other restrictive social situations, the band split in the summer of 2010. Born in 1989, 21 year old, Steve Zieja lives in Sparta, NJ where he has spent the majority of his life. Handicapped/Fueled by his Bi polar disorder, the lyrical content of his music is often sporadic, and unafraid of honesty. Using a 6-string guitar, laptop, and a built-in microphone, Steve Zieja does whatever he can do to use the world of music as his emotional release, sanctuary, and playground. Fuse The Disconnect could be summed up best by the biography from the band's myspace: Myself included, millions of people around the world feel out of place, in the way, purposeless, and alone. In my experience, music has been the only thing that has had the ability to alleviate this sense of irrelevance and, because of this, my hopes are to switch sides in the helper to hopeless relationship the art involves and one day become a voice similar to that of one of the many artists who screamed into my ear on countless occasions, all the while guiding me through the bullshit life seems to be permanently attached to.
