The examples of rock bands that, since their beginnings, increase their quality everyday are not too many. Even less in a place like Canary Islands. But the truth is that there is at least one: FUCKIN' FAMILY FACES. To understand the reason we must step back in time some years ago, until 1992. Pablo Rodríguez (guitars and voice), Pepe Tapia (guitars and voice), Antonio Negrón (bass) and Carmelo Sánchez (drums) began to rehearsal without notions of music studies. This technical knowledges handicap is supplied with lots of hope and hard work, as well as with a total admiration to their music heroes (Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Bob Marley, Beatles or Stones). Since that beginnings, the philosophy of the band has been based on the mix of styles, respecting everyone but not fearing none, it doesn't matter if it's rock, reggae, metal, hip-hop, pop, country, folk, punk, etc. In 1993 they recorded their first demo-tape: "All Together Now", featuring some of the first "classics" of the band, like "Mamma" or "The Wild Nun". It hadn't a great repercution but it's a good first step. They began to get a good reputation as a live band and at the end of that year they recorded their second demo "Fuckin' Again", right before Pepe left the band. Now as a trio, their made first concert in the jail.
