From Bubblegum to Sky is an indie pop project of Mario Hernandez. He chose to release the music under this moniker because he said that it feels somehow odd for him to see his real name on the record. He said, that some other people influence his music and can be considered sort of participants in the music creation. Debut Album Line-up: Mario Hernandez: vocals and instrumentals The debut record, Me and Amy and the Two French Boys, was gloriously accepted as the shimmering and melodic pop illumination that it was. Combining loves for American pop with Japanese kitsch, Bowie and the Beatles with Pink Lady, From Bubblegum to Sky released an album full of "serene sonic textures" and a "sparkling, distinctive pop aesthetic."
