Fridayfirst are a melodic hardcore rock band from Perth, Scotland. they mix various styles and influences to convey their sound which is a mix of vibrant melodies, powerful screaming, thunderous break downs, sweeping solos, intricate structures and much more. Their live show is a picture of pure energy, passion and a whole hearted belief in what they do, for fans of bands such as Underoath, comeback kid, chiodos, TDWP, (Early) FFAF and Biffy Clyro - Fridayfirst are out to get their message across to whoever they can through a view to some heavy releases and touring early next year. Due to almost breaking-point circumstances whilst recording their debut album (the bands recording was cut whilst halfway through leaving them with no album, new recording and having to cancel their first European shows in Belgium and France,) the buzz and hype they had created for this was now left in pieces with them back to the beggining, Fast forward a few months and new songs have been written with views to a release of an ep early 2009 with impressive interest worldwide already, this ep should see the band secure a European and UK tour mid 2009, Interest in the band has never faded from the hardcore "FridayFirstFamily" and they will be dually rewarded with the new songs described as "the best we have ever written" from the band, the guys are working hard to get the best sound they can, a mix of brutal heavy parts with beautiful sounding melodies and harmonies, instrumentals and experimenta
