Freyrdam is an acoustic folk band from Paris, France. It was formed in January 2004, and the first demo, "Le Saule," ("The Willow") was completed in June of 2005 without acoustic flute. A session musician named Ian (http://www.myspace.com/bucheroncelte) was recruited to play flute, and the demo was re-recorded. The music features soft and soaring vocals, flute and acoustic guitar, and is influenced by classical compositions. The band has released its demo, "Le Saule," for free download on Jamendo: http://www.jamendo.com/fr/artist/Freyrdaam. A new full-length album, "La trêve," was self-released in 2008.
