Artist
"French Films About Trains is made up of Grahame (of the solo project Redmarley) and Aubben (of the projects Craven Canary and Shedding Feathers). Grahame a life-long musician and singer/song-writer had been begging Aubben to sing with him and start a band and for nine years, she refused. Finally, in 2008, Aubben began writing songs, and naturally, wanted to be the one to sing them, so she began to 'learn' how to sing. After writing their first tune "Heel & Toe" and recording an impromptu bedroom demo late one night, they were bitten with the band-bug and formed French Films About Trains. Often compared to Mazzy Star and She&Him, they are on their way to make their mark here in the Twin Cities as well as around the world. Their music has been featured on BBC in the U.K., as well as on the soundtrack for an independent film in England, had the pleasure of participating in a Red Cross Relief Compilation and have recently hopped on board with England-based HI54LOFI Records."
