Fremdkunst is a b-beats/hiphop/jazz project initiated by Dutch DJ Juggernaut Mace. It's a blend of breakbeats, funk, cinematographic soundscapes and created with the use and help of samplers, soft- and hardware, vintage synthesizers and turntables. The Fremdkunst concept itself was created by the strange mind of Bandana Handoekoe. Handoekoe defined Fremdkunst as 'an art form beyond the eye of the beholder' and subsequently Mace reformed this definition into a syncopated outburst of sounds. Fremdkunst Live consists of Mace, Optimus and Vindictiv (DigHeads), guitarist Shycop and other guest-musicians.
