The minimal guitar-pop combo Freelove Fenner was founded in late 2005 by Caitlin Loney and Peter Woodford. Drummer Michael Wright joined the fold in 2006. A decidedly part-time act in its early years, the band became much more active by late 2012, finally releasing its debut full-length “Do Not Affect A Breezy Manner” on November 19th 2013. Montreal’s Fixture Records issued the release as a vinyl LP with download card. The bands first release was the independently issued "Denver" split 7" E.P. with fellow Montrealers Valleys; Orson Presence (Monochrome Set) produced and recorded both sides. The band's self-produced mini-album "In the Bottle Garden" (CD) followed in August 2009, it was their first release on Fixture. In October 2012 the band released the Pineapple Hair cassette E.P. (also on Fixture Records).
