Freelance Samurai is the moniker of Nuno Povoa. In his youth Nuno sat in front of the television set with his first synthesizer on his lap obsessing over the chord progression of Superman's main theme and when it was time for comercials he'd mute the tv and created his own commercial jingles. As a multi instrumentalist he was a key element in various bands both as a guitarist and bassist. He likes to think of himself as a tech-age musician, he doesn't adhere to the paradigm of albums, releasing each of his creations as soon as they are finished. A strong believer in Creative Common rights, and with the exception of commercial comissioned pieces, all of his music is freely available on the internet. ...and the fact that he wrote his own wiki entry here is slightly worrisome.
