Freedom Assault started in Auburn, Maine in 2004 with 5 friends ready to make some music with something to say. Touching on topics of anti-war/pro-peace, corruption in the government, human rights, vivisection, animal cruelty, gay friendly, womens rights. After numerous line up changes, Freedom Assault is a four piece with male/ female dual vocals playing fast punk. current line-up: Rev. Travis Assault current position: guitar, vocals guitar(2004-present) bass(2011) rhythm guitar(2011) vocals(2004-present) Les Cunt current position: Vocals vocals(2004-present) Rob Noxious current position: bass drums(2010-2011) bass(2011-present) Adam current position:drums drums(2011-present) Biography: Freedom Assault formed in April 2004 from the ashes of Anarchist Autonomous in Auburn, Maine. After much deliberation Travis Assault (guitar/occassional vocals), les drunk (vocals), Brand-o (bass), Aislynne (vocals), and Jeff (drums) became the first line up of Freedom Assault. This line up recorded a live demo of 8 songs with a video recorder cataloging some very early songs. Heavy influence from Blatz (but a bit more thrashy) defined our sound at the time. As we were setting to record a better demo, Brand-o left the band due to personal reasons. We still continued on and set up a our first show to play and recorded one demo track on a home recorder.
