Free Electric State fuses swirling textures with the more traditional boundaries of loud rock music. The band is from Durham, NC and have been creating quite a stir with their blistering live show. They have shared the stage with Polvo, Alice Donut, Fin Fang Foom & many others. Currently, Free Electric State is working on their first full-length release entitled "Caress" with legendary producer Jerry Kee (Polvo, Superchunk, Kingsbury Manx), which is due to drop in the spring of 2010.
