Fredric Gary Comeau is a French Canadian, born in Acadia in a coastal village on Nepisiguit Bay. He has published six french poetry collections and a radio fiction in addition to his singer/songwriter credits. Three CDs have now been released: Another Broken Lullaby (1999), Hungry Ghost (2002), and Eve Reve (2006). However, his first CD has been poorly released and is difficult to find. Hungry Ghost is a humble, melodious album about travel, loneliness and drinking, that resonates sincerely with listeners. Often compared to a young Leonard Cohen (but with a more natural singing voice) the talented lyricist continues to play shows across Canada.
