Swedish American composer/vocalist/guitarist born 1988 in Uppsala, Sweden. A love for music and art, both in many different forms, has been a huge part of Freddy since a very young age. At fifteen years old, he got his first guitar and started learning Guns N' Roses and Metallica songs among others. Once he could play the guitar decently he started looking for people to start a band with, mainly friends at his school. Finally, after four years of trying he joined his first band, Kyrielle, in August 2007. Seeing as the band already had it's two guitar players, Freddy was left with the vocalist spot, and even though he had never ever dreamed of being a singer it turned out to be very rewarding and not to mention successful. Freddy fronted the band for three years before eventually leaving Kyrielle in September 2010 to form his current band Set Sails South, with Jules Wallenberg and Vic Stålstierna (two ex-members of late Kyrielle). As 2010 nears it's end, Set Sails South are currently practicing their new material and getting ready for their first live performance.
