Fred Henry Hughes is an American soul and funk singer/songwriter and producer, born in Arkansas, but a long-time resident of Compton, California. Not confused with soul singer Freddie Hughes. Recorded some records for Vee Jay Records, Brunswick and other labels in the 60s. He still lives in Compton but has not been active in music since the 1970s.
