Freaky Beats was originally founded by four producers; Lobotomia, Taikuri, Kera and Rusoposki, all part of the underground Finnish collective called Freaky Beats Productions. They're debut-album "When Beats Don't Sleep" was released in December 2004. It was a mixture of strange samples, crunchy beats and weird musical humor. A genre of alternative instrumental hiphop only to be described as: "Freaky Beats". Currently they're working as a trio (Lobo, Tkri and Keramick) and recently released their latest 7"-vinyl release: "How To Prepare a Delicious Cup Of Coffee". The new album is meddling mostly in the styles of ambient and downtempo, but also with a little bit of that hiphop-flavor.
