Born September 10th, 1984, Franz started his musical education at the age of 3. His father was a professional musician during the 1980s and 90s and so he got the same passion pumping through his veins. After studying several instruments in music school among other things keyboard and singing classes like his father before him he was then led to heavier instruments by discovering heavy metal and hard rock music in his early teen years. Eager to bring the music he so dearly loved to his friends and other people around he formed several bands acting as lead singer/lead guitarist playing festivals and shows across Germany in the early 2000s. In 2018 he played a few reunion shows with former band mates celebrating 30 years in music, singing lead vocals, playing guitar and drums on different songs. Remarkable points in his career: - the MetallicA Tribute Band "PlasticA" (2002-2005) where he had the opportunity to meet his idols - playing a show with Eric Fish, lead vocals of "Subway To Sally" (2008) - private lesson with Derek Sherinian (Alice Cooper, Kiss, Dream Theater, Sons of Apollo) in 2018 - meeting "Sons of Apollo" (Portnoy, Sherinian, Sheehan, Bumblefoot, Soto) (2018) - meeting "Dream Theater" and getting taught by John Petrucci (2020) User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
