Frankie Cheah (Boo Seng) was the school teacher from Johor who liked to sing. He recorded with EMI and produced two big hits: Cheryl Moana Marie (recorded originally by John Rowles from New Zealand) and then a monster one with Woman in my life. He was given the Anugerah Sri Wiramar award for his lifelong achievement in the Malaysian music industry at the Malaysia’s Anugerah Industri Muzik 2004. He retired after a very successful career with Warner Music Malaysia and Chairman with BMG Malaysia/Singapore.
